1960’s
The Lualdi brothers, Piero and Giovanni, decide to embark on this adventure: eight machines for the production of women’s socks, in the basement of their house… working 24 hours a day.
Economic boom
The Lualdi brothers’ intuition materialized in the 1970s with the construction of a 200-square-meter warehouse and the purchase of new machinery.
The economic boom, the increase in work, and the subsequent collaboration with various hosiery factories led to the hiring of the first employee and the involvement of all family members.
1990s
Over the years, the work has been passed down from fathers to sons. In fact, in 1994, Massimo and Maurizio took the reins of the company.
And… “along the way strength grows”… the fabulous 2000s arrive.
The replacement of most machinery with increasingly state-of-the-art ones, the construction of a new 450-square-meter warehouse, and the installation of 102 solar panels for energy production bring the company to its peak.
The production of women’s socks becomes increasingly specialized, and in 2010, a groundbreaking novelty begins: the production of graduated compression socks for men.
In these years, the company grows to have about ten employees, and in 2019, with Filippo, the third generation of Lualdi enters the scene, leading to the launch of increasingly personalized sports socks on the market.
